Move to the cloud provides future proof solution

Due to poor connectivity speeds Cladanco had been unable to consider Cloud based solution in the past but, following an increase in connectivity speed and a server failure the company needed a reliable solution, quickly.

Having been recommended Clifton IT were chosen to manage the project to move Cladanco’s files from an existing on site server to Office 365.

• Email migration – due to the existing email set up (POP3) email data had to be individually and manually exported as PST files from each office computer. These files were then imported into the new Office 365 based mailboxes ready for use.
• Document migration – due to the server failure documents had to be retrieved from an external back-up. These files were then migrated into Microsoft SharePoint using SyncBack.

All files and documents were successfully moved to Office 365 and made accessible to required users. Cladanco now have a cloud based solution that:

• Provides the ability to work remotely
• Future proofs the company
• Provides increased resilience and flexibility
• Removes the need for expensive on site servers
